Two cups created as companions.
 
I hand-formed this pair together, painting each cup in energetic relationship with the other. Layer by layer, I built up their rich jade glazes and embossed each surface with leaves that seem to reach toward one another.
 
During their making, I placed them within an infinity symbol of rose petals on my altar, allowing that symbol of enduring love to become part of their creation. As I worked, I read poems on loving devotion from the Radiance Sutras, inviting those words into every stage of the process.
 
The layered greens and intertwining leaves are a reminder that love is a living thing. Like a tree, it flourishes through presence, care, and the willingness to keep growing alongside one another through every season of life.
