Sacred Union Cup
I would like to introduce you to something I invented for my partnership. I have been developing it over a decade and feel I have been dreaming of this since I was a child.
I call this ceramic vessel: the Sacred Union Cup. The form symbolises the intertwining of two individuals. I believe so much that within the container of a couple we can support, nurture and even heal each other just by being present.
I make each cup by hand over a month, shaping each by hand with unique clays, and hand-painting with special glazes according to your wishes. You can read more about my creative process below and in detail in the custom cup journey section of this website.
Drinking together from the Sacred Union Cup is a step beyond clinking two champagne glasses together as a couple. It really invites presence. We love to drink from our cup and with each sip tell something we love about each other. We love to expand on this simple ritual and have created hundreds of rituals over the years to weave and expand our connections.
